A product-as-mechanic launch: make the brand playable, not just visible.

Flavor Wars launched Gamer Shots by turning the product into a gameplay advantage—then extending that same idea across creators, community competition, and IRL sampling. A custom UEFN map divided players into three flavor teams, with in-game 5-hour ENERGY power-ups that enabled flavor-specific abilities—structured and cleared with internal marketing and legal so the mechanic stayed compliant and brand-safe.

Work

  • UEFN map + gameplay loop: three flavor zones (Apple Bash / Pineapple Charge / Rocket Raspberry) with power-ups tied to team-specific abilities

  • Streamer partnership + live competition: captains CouRage, LEGIQN, Sparkles_QT leading teams through 12 rounds of Zone Wars

  • Community tournament: public participation via map search / code with a $10K prize pool

  • IRL sampling activation: nearby mobile footprint outside TwitchCon, featuring a partnered streamer (trailer + montage on-page)

  • Influencer activation: Overkill Gaming on Instagram (PC giveaway + custom liquid-cooled PC build using Gamer Shots)

My role
End-to-end campaign owner.

  • Owned the integrated concept across gameplay, creators, community format, and IRL sampling

  • Led cross-functional alignment with marketing + legal on product-as-power-up guardrails (mechanic rules, claims, player-facing language)

  • Directed vendors/partners and managed contracts through delivery (scope, approvals, QA, launch readiness)

  • Oversaw production through completion (streamer/influencer coordination + activation execution)
