A luxury stunt with real utility: “event energy,” literally built into the accessory.
To create a summer “wearable hype” moment, 5-hour ENERGY partnered with Verstolo Fine Jewelry to design refillable cufflinks that hold roughly one full 5-hour ENERGY shot—a functional luxury accessory released in limited quantities.
Work
Product drop: first-ever refillable 5-hour ENERGY cufflinks, hand-crafted with 12K gold-plated sterling silver and premium stainless steel; designed to hold about one shot.
Launch partner: Flavor Flav debuted the cufflinks publicly at a dinner he hosted celebrating the U.S. Women’s Water Polo team ahead of Paris.
Limited release behavior: small-quantity availability with purchase limits and U.S.-only shipping (brand site listed as limited/not-for-retail style availability).
Influencer extension: additional creator content featuring Justin Glaze and LeDarius Campbell.
Covered as a $1,000 limited run, including two bottles of Flavor Flav’s preferred Grape Extra Strength.
